     How Strong was the Effect of the Gettysburg Address?               The Civil War was sock as the contend that caused many problems to the United States of America. The North and coalition were divided in two. Slavery, owning land, and money caused them to separate. The North host was the confederation (led by General Ulysses S. Grant) and the south was the Confederates (General Robert E. Lee). The most famous troth (the skirmish of Gettysburg) had the most effect because of the one few-minute speech: the Gettysburg Address.  The fighting of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania had a big effect on the armies. In that one battle, the North lost 23,000 men and the minute of arc lost 28,000 men. The North won and General Lee took his military back to Virginia. He had lost about a one-third of his army in one day.                   Four months later, on November 19th, 1863,  electric chair Abraha m Lincoln visited the site of the Battle of Gettysburg. He knew he had to contemplate something about it.
