Another step that can be taken by the United States is that it needs to relax its firearm ownership laws and provide law abiding citizens with guns so they can protect the nation on their own. It has been proven that strict laws regarding ownership of guns cannot stop terrorist attacks. This is quite evident in the terror attack that was conducted in France when terrorist attacked Charlie Hebdo (Taylor, 2015). Furthermore the United States need to monitor as well as control the terror ists easy access to bomb making technologies and devices. In the Boston Bombings the terrorist used easily accessible materials for developing the bombs (Boesveld, 2013).
